A LETTER FROM B. ALEXIS ✍🏾…

This really should not be happening for someone in my situation, so I am extremely grateful that my voice is being heard beyond these walls, and I pray that my words have a lasting and positive impact on those of you who have taken the time to listen. ✨

Gas Gang!! 🔥⛽️

What’s up! I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for EVERYTHING! 🙏🏾 I must say that I’m overjoyed and beyond thankful for the continual love and support you have been showing me since day one. I regret that I cannot be more present, but I’m humbled by the fact that, in spite of this, you still choose to embrace my music and engage with it on the available platforms. (Please continue to do so!) 💬

That said, I’m excited to finally be releasing 9th & Gasoline! 🎉 The journey to get here has been tedious and challenging, and yet nothing short of amazing. Smh. This really should not be happening for someone in my situation, so I am extremely grateful that my voice is being heard beyond these walls, and I pray that my words have a lasting and positive impact on those of you who have taken the time to listen. ✨

I can say with absolute certainty that there is something on 9th & Gasoline for EVERYONE. This album is more than a depiction of my life. It is the collective story of hundreds of thousands of trauma-impacted people, especially young Black women, depicted in 9 songs. And while our story is not individually unique, it is culturally unique, so I hope that retelling it from a new and feminine perspective will serve to help reawaken our compassion for one another’s trials and spark a renewed determination to excel beyond our environmental limitations. 🌱

Now let’s light it up! 🔥

Peace,

B. Alexis
