“NOBODY’S LISTENING” & “THE FATHER’S CALL” OUT NOW

Tenneson’s forthcoming Studio C209 album was recorded entirely in his cell.

“Nobody’s Listening” is the first single and track one from Tenneson's Studio C209 album, which was entirely recorded in his prison cell. Tenneson is currently serving five life sentences in Colorado and received several instrument donations from FREER Records, from which he wrote and recorded this album.

Tenneson writes, "While watching TV one day I was just blown away at how desensitized we have become as a society. There is so much tragedy surrounding us, yet we seem oblivious. There is so much more we could embrace, and should... perhaps pull our heads out of the sand?"

“The Father’s Call” is the second single from the album, and is a deeply touching song about a man who Mike visited in the prison Dementia Ward to sing him songs. This man hadn’t spoken in years, but as Mike sang for him, he began to mutter words again.

With a lyric video featuring stop animation by Stefano Bertelli, in a similar style to “Nobody’s Listening” but without any AI, “The Father’s Call” is bound to tug your heartstrings.
